Where’s the folly,
Behind the curtains? mics or cut-outs?
Or in all the accusations made
On TV screen
With striking headlines,
A declaration of yesterday’s crimes
Keeping us away from the better tomorrows?
Twenty-one million of struggles to survive,
A day in this civilized island,
went unmarked
Sugar-coated with salty lies.
Civilizations perish,
Not when all the people are dead
But when all the hearts are poisoned.
